Granaino

The cozy attic Granaino is an integral part of the ancient village of Certano and it is located on the second floor of a wing of Villa Certano, inhabited in the 15th century by the famous painter Lorenzo di Pietro, known as Il Vecchietta.

It has a double bedroom, a living room with 2 single beds (optional), a kitchenette and a bathroom.

From the windows of Granaino you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hanging garden of the main villa with its beautiful roses and lemon trees: the so-called “Giardino all’italiana”.

The attic is provided with everything you may need: linens, cutlery, hair dryer, dish soap and shower soap.

In the kitchen you will find a bottle of our organic Chianti wine as a gift for choosing us.

The tranquility of the apartment and at the same time its proximity to Siena make Granaino the ideal destination for a relaxing and cultural holiday.

You will have access to a great part of the estate and are welcome to enjoy the gardens while sipping a glass of our organic Chianti wine.

It is possible to buy wine, olive oil and vinsanto produced in Certano by asking at the Reception. Or else browse in the shop La Buca delle Fate near the Reception.
