Poggiolo

Poggiolo is located on the second floor of Villa Certano, inhabited in the 15th century by the famous painter Lorenzo di Pietro, known as Il Vecchietta.

The apartment has been renovated in a rustic Tuscan style, respecting the old tradition, softened by some elegant touches.

It has a bedroom with a double bed, a twin-bed room, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.

From the windows of Poggiolo you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hanging garden of the main villa with its beautiful roses and lemon trees: the so-called “Giardino pensile all’italiana”.

The country house is provided with everything you may need: linens, cutlery, hair dryer, dish soap and shower soap.

In the kitchen you will find a bottle of our organic Chianti wine as a gift for choosing us.

The tranquility of the apartment and its proximity to Siena make Poggiolo the ideal destination for a relaxing and cultural holiday.

You will have access to most of the estate and are welcome to enjoy the park while sipping a glass of our organic Chianti wine.

It is possible to buy wine, olive oil and vinsanto produced in Certano by asking at the Reception. Or else browse in the shop La Buca delle Fate near the Reception.
